Our client a large corrugated packaging company in Etobicoke requires a Continuous Improvement Analyst for their growing facility.

Selected Candidates will be required to perform the following

Main Role:
Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects across various departments
Utilize lean, theory of constraints and Six Sigma principles to identify and implement process

improvements and manufacturing best practices
Work with cross-functional teams to create sustainable programs which enhance efficiency,

quality, reduce costs, reduce waste, and improve overall organizational performance
Utilize problem solving methods and continuous improvement techniques to lead efforts to

raise the skills and knowledge of employees through training
Develop and execute process flow diagrams, process guides, change matrices, and

supporting action plans per identified needs
Assist in process improvement regarding change control, identification of gaps and roll out of

solution
Identify, understand and review company needs; conduct research, gather data and use

statistical metrics and data collection techniques to determine project opportunities and

improve existing projects and procedures and implement solutions against problem areas
Develop and implement a clear CI improvement plan, establish a timeline for accomplishing

benchmarks, and ensure compliance with government regulations
Establish criteria for the project's success and determine constraints/limiting factors and map

out in detail the desired situation
Communicate and provide innovative input on Continual Improvement Plan to upper

management with focus on internal business objectives, benchmarking of external best

practices and identifying improvement opportunities
Conduct regular risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize the

impact of identified risks on operations; effectively communicate to departments in order to

provide a strong and overall risk assessment associated with changes/improvements
Analyze current processes
Review procedures
Identify area of constraints that need improvement
Develop plans to increase production and decrease costs
Implement plans and train staff on new procedures
Document changes and create regular reports for upper management
Develop and learn practices for process
Develop appropriate KPI (Key Performance Indicator)

Others:
Training others when required
Any duties/tasks as specified by Management as per requirement

Must possess

A minimum 3 years of experience in the facilitation and all aspects of lean or six sigma

projects.
Internal auditing certificate
Quality Management Certificate/Diploma
Application of the theory of constraints methodology

Experience in Kaizen project management will be an asset
Experience in ISO 9001 Quality System Program auditing and related implementation of

procedures
