About The Opportunity The Director, Renewals Desk — part of the Revenue Operations organization — plays an integral role in defining, operationalizing, and optimizing the company’s renewals motion. Working collaboratively with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations leadership, this role ensures the renewals function operates with precision, consistency, and scalability. The Director will bring deep renewal expertise to help shape strategy, improve process efficiency, and drive alignment across teams that collectively protect and grow recurring revenue. What You’ll Get To Do Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps leadership to help define and refine the overall renewals strategy and execution model. Lead and support a customer-facing renewals team responsible for executing renewals with professionalism, accuracy, and customer focus. Operationalize and manage the centralized Renewals Desk function, ensuring renewals are executed predictably, accurately, and in alignment with customer and business objectives. Translate renewal strategy into standardized processes, playbooks, and metrics that enable efficient execution across all customer segments. Partner with Revenue Operations to develop renewal dashboards, performance reports, and forecasting frameworks that deliver actionable insights. Work with Legal and Finance to streamline contract terms, approval processes, and pricing policies to reduce renewal cycle times and improve accuracy. Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales leadership to ensure alignment on renewal ownership, communication standards, and escalation paths. Build and lead a high-performing renewals team that drives operational excellence, collaboration, and customer focus. Support continuous improvement through data-driven recommendations, automation opportunities, and best practice adoption. Serve as a key liaison across go-to-market functions, ensuring renewal processes are transparent, consistent, and well-governed. Report on renewal performance, retention trends, and process health, highlighting opportunities for optimization across the organization. Oversee pricing and contracting operations, ensuring consistency, compliance, and commercial rigor in all deal structures. Lead commercial operations for Customer Base Sales, aligning deal strategy, forecasting, and process enablement to revenue targets. Skills And Experience We Value 10+ years of experience in SaaS, technology, or recurring revenue businesses, with 5+ years in Revenue Operations, Renewals, or Customer Success leadership. Proven ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally in shaping renewal strategy and operational design. Strong operational and analytical mindset with expertise in process optimization, forecasting, and reporting. Deep understanding of SaaS revenue metrics, including ARR, GRR, NRR, and churn, and how operational design impacts them. Demonstrated experience leading renewal or commercial operations teams within a RevOps framework. Proficiency with Salesforce, renewal automation tools (e.g., CPQ, Conga, DocuSign), and analytics platforms. Skilled communicator who can translate operational insights into business recommendations. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to build trust and alignment across functions and at all organizational levels.
