Scientific/Process/Test Recruitment across North America / Mountain Biker / Skier (Hiring: Sales/Service/Scientists/Technical at all seniorities) The Opportunity: We are working with a well-established industrial instrumentation manufacturer in building out a team to accelerate growth across valve, force and level product lines. This is a highly visible role combining technical expertise, team cooperation, and national market development. The position sits within Outside Sales and plays a pivotal role in shaping go-to-market strategy, enabling the sales organization, and expanding application coverage across Canada. The successful candidate will lead technical training, support complex sales efforts, and seek out and close on their own opportunities. There are two open roles, covering Western Canada and Eastern Canada respectively. Role Overview This role is responsible for driving regional growth of valve, force and level solutions through a combination of market analysis, team support, and direct sales. You will act as the technical authority for these product lines, supporting both inside and outside sales teams, developing application-driven strategies, and helping the organization expand into new markets and customer segments and regular engagement with senior sales leadership. Key Responsibilities Identify Canadian market opportunities and applications for valve, force and level solutions through structured market research. Develop and execute national action plans to grow adoption across target industries and applications. Expand market reach by identifying new use cases, customer segments, and verticals. Establish and grow distribution and resale networks for relevant products and services. Develop and deliver technical and application-focused training programs for sales teams. Train sales staff on product capabilities, target markets, and effective positioning strategies. Create and maintain high-quality product and application presentations for customer engagement. Support the sales organization during complex opportunities, including OEM and large-volume negotiations. Technical Leadership & Support Act as the commercial subject matter expert for valve, force and level offerings. Provide advanced technical sales support to inside and outside sales teams. Support customer engagements in both field and executive/boardroom environments. Serve as a technical liaison between Canadian operations and global product or engineering teams. Attend and represent the organization at trade shows, seminars, and internal product segment meetings. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align product strategy with commercial objectives. Candidate Profile & Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in instrumentation, calibration, or industrial technologies. Strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electronic instrumentation, calibration systems, SF₆ solutions, and IIoT platforms. Proven outside sales experience with a strong understanding of market segmentation and application selling. Comfortable delivering professional technical and commercial presentations. Strong computer and business systems proficiency. Self-directed, highly organized, and effective working with minimal supervision. Ability to act as an effective intermediary between regional and global stakeholders. Strong decision-making, technical learning agility, and functional expertise.
