Position: Full-Time Safety Administrator

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the transportation industry 
  • Strong understanding of Hours-of-Service and knowledge of E-Logs preferred 
  • Familiar with Truck Mate software would be an asset 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with excellent computer skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are a must
  • Must possess time management and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring Hours-of-Service for the fleet
  • Process and audit driver logs for completeness and accuracy
  • Review and follow up with all traffic tickets, warnings, convictions or accidents
  • Assist with DVIRs, CVORs, Drivers Abstracts and critical events 
  • Analyze and generate reports as required
  • Assist with PIP and C-TPAT
  • Ongoing review of safety policies, procedures and practices
  • Assist with customer-specific driver training, with both customer and drivers
  • After-hours calls for Hours-of-Service issues periodically
  • Assist with the Drug & Alcohol program
  • Other projects as required, completing all the above with the utmost integrity and confidentiality
