Overview Director, Business Development – Montreal at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. Join to apply for this role in freight forwarding and logistics with an employee-centric culture and a global network delivering client-driven supply chain solutions. Responsibilities Identify and qualify new business opportunities, maintain a pipeline of at least 25 active prospects, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, conduct regular business reviews, anticipate evolving customer needs, and liaise between clients and operational teams. Prepare and deliver client proposals, including quotations and timely bid submissions in coordination with Tender Management. Maintain accurate and timely records of all commercial activities in the CRM system, ensuring updates support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with internal and international teams, support overseas campaigns, host visiting stakeholders, and contribute to company goals aligned with Hellmann’s Sales Strategy. Demonstrate strong proficiency in written and spoken Quebec French for professional communication. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Logistics/Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum of 10 years of related experience in sales, marketing, and customer service. Proven track record of increasing sales year over year; at least six years of sales experience in freight forwarding. Proficient knowledge of all freight forwarding products and partner network. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills; ability to travel 50%+; valid driver’s license required.
