Maintenance Assistant

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of Lake Minnewanka Cruise while maintaining high quality standards Perform regular maintenance checks as assigned Maintain the upkeep of all buildings, grounds, small boat fleet, and docks Complete basic repairs and assist Managers with major repairs Encourage and participate in safe work practices Assist other departments as required Interact with coworkers, management, and guests Provide visitors with a high-quality experience, ensuring a high level of customer service is given to each guest Report to the Maintenance Manager and complete all projects and tasks as assigned Operate basic hand, power tools Operate fleet vehicles and trailers REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Prior maintenance experience an asset Previous trade experience an asset with a preference to basic carpentry and mechanical experience Current Alberta Driver's License Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision Competent in spoken & written English Proven ability to work within strict policy/procedures and guidelines First Aid Training an asset Able to lift up to 20lbs (frequently) up to 100lbs (occasionally) To honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record check The starting wage for this role is $24.00/hour About Us: We're more than a hospitality and attractions company.
