Position Overview Ivans, a worldwide leader in insurance technology and a division of Applied Systems, is looking for a Customer Implementation Specialist with a background in Data Translation. The role involves mapping and translating customer data to ACORD standards using XSLT stylesheet transformations, engaging with customers to gather and analyze business requirements, validating data, implementing solutions, resolving defects, and supporting the team to bring customers through pilot and into general release. You will also support internal efforts to improve processes and implement feature enhancements. What You’ll Do Scope and implement data translations with customers and internal resources, using XSLT, to enable customers to deliver insurance data to their retail agents. Provide data requirements support, best‑practice guidance, and defect review for customers implementing Ivans’ API. Communicate and collaborate proactively with external and internal customers. Qualifications Strong experience with XSLT data translation/transformation. Experience working with XML and JSON data structures. Familiarity with APIs. Ability to manage multiple projects over multiple months. Strong code‑management skills, including branching, reviewing, and deploying code. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills: scoping and implementation, QA testing of data, root‑cause analysis of defects. Strong client‑service skills. Property & Casualty Insurance industry knowledge. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration or a related field. Additional skills (not required but desirable): flat‑file data structures, ACORD standards knowledge, Git/GitLab, JIRA, Oxygen, Postman.
