About the Opportunity
Dayforce is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IT team, focusing on providing support to our Marketing function. The primary focus of the Business Analyst will be to collaborate with stakeholders in Marketing to identify, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring successful implementation of IT solutions that meet the strategic objectives of the organization.
What you’ll get to do
- Collaborate with Marketing stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for IT projects
- Support the Marketing Digital Transformation projects, focused on automating and enabling a more targeted and personalized journey for our customers and prospects
- Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories
- Analyze requirements and produce design documents that describe how new software features and/or enhancements should function for Marketing users
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into easily understandable language
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans based on business requirements
- Conduct testing and validation of IT solutions to ensure they meet the specified business requirements
- Assess risks and impacts on existing systems as new functions are added
- Identify potential technical problems or design flaws so that preventive action can be taken
- Research technical issues within Marketo, communicate solution, and implement the fix
- Analyze marketing data and metrics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Design and create reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and initiatives

Skills and Experience we Value
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Familiarity with Marketing concepts, strategies, and metrics
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing tools such as Marketo, ZoomInfo, Drift, Salesforce, and Vidyard
- Highly organized, disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile team
- A keen eye for opportunities to improve data quality, with a Marketing focus top of mind
- Excellent consulting, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong technical background
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycles, methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Experience interviewing business sponsors and other stakeholders to elicit and document scope and requirements #LI-REMOTE
