For more information, visit Summary VP, Human Resources - Talent is responsible for building and leading Shift4’s Global Talent Center of Excellence (COE), ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent across all markets. This executive will oversee talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, and career growth. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the VP will align global talent strategy with business objectives, operationalize scalable programs, and deliver measurable impact across the enterprise. Responsibilities Talent Strategy & Execution Lead the design and execution of the global talent strategy, aligning initiatives with enterprise business goals. Build scalable global programs across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Career Growth. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Drive a global recruiting strategy to ensure quality, speed, and diversity of hires. Oversee workforce planning to align long-term talent supply with organizational growth. Implement employer branding strategies that strengthen Shift4’s position as an employer of choice worldwide. Learning, Leadership & Career Development Develop and scale global learning programs, including leadership development and succession planning. Establish career pathing frameworks that provide employees with visibility into growth opportunities. Ensure programs are measurable and aligned with business needs. Performance Management & Culture Oversee the performance management framework to drive accountability, transparency, and results. Lead organization-wide goal setting, feedback, and performance assessments. Champion a culture of growth, high performance, and employee engagement. Operational Excellence & Data-Driven Governance Define and track KPIs across talent programs to measure effectiveness and inform continuous improvement. Leverage data analytics to optimize decision-making and resource allocation. Partner with HRBPs and senior leadership to ensure alignment between talent initiatives and business outcomes. Qualifications 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with expertise across talent acquisition, learning and development, and performance management. Demonstrated success leading global teams across multiple geographies and time zones. Proven ability to design and scale enterprise-wide talent programs in high-growth environments. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience implementing HR technology platforms (Workday preferred). Experience with M&A integration, start-up scaling, and organizational transformation strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
