Marketplace eCommerce Manager Fitness Avenue is scaling our marketplace channels and we’re hiring a Marketplace eCommerce Manager who is passionate about marketplaces and consistently drives profitable growth through disciplined execution, strong operational hygiene, and measurable weekly outcomes. About the role As Manager, you will own the day-to-day performance and growth of our marketplace business starting with Amazon and expanding into additional channels (e.g., Walmart Marketplace and others) as opportunities are validated. Marketplace Growth & Strategy Execution Drive revenue and profit growth across Amazon and assigned marketplaces. Identify and evaluate new marketplace opportunities, programs, and expansion paths. Build and execute a structured test plan (pricing tests, creative tests, targeting tests) with clear hypotheses and results. Listing Creation, Optimization & Catalog Integrity Create and optimize listings, including titles, bullets, attributes, variations, compliance, and category requirements. Coordinate and implement A+ content and listing creative in collaboration with internal creative resources. Maintain high listing standards and a repeatable launch process for new SKUs. Diagnose and resolve listing issues: suppressions, stranded listings, broken variations, incorrect attributes, and category errors. Marketplace Advertising (Amazon PPC) & Spend Discipline Plan, build, and optimize Amazon ads with strong hygiene (structure, targeting, search term mining, negatives, waste control). Manage budgets and bidding with an emphasis on profitable growth and efficiency (TACoS/ACoS discipline). Maintain a clean change log of key adjustments and the rationale behind them. Align advertising intensity with inventory realities to avoid scaling into stockouts. FBA Inventory Management & Operational Coordination Monitor FBA inventory health and in‑stock performance for priority ASINs. Build and maintain a restock cadence from warehouse to FBA based on sales velocity and lead times. Create and manage FBA shipment plans (as assigned), track shipments through check‑in/receiving, and reconcile discrepancies. Resolve stranded inventory and receiving issues through cases with proper evidence and escalation. Monitor storage risk and aging inventory; propose action plans for removals, liquidation or discount strategies when appropriate. Account Health, Compliance & Case Management Monitor account health and performance metrics; proactively prevent avoidable issues. Handle policy/compliance flags and marketplace support cases using evidence-based workflows. Document recurring issues and create repeatable playbooks for faster resolution. Reporting, Cadence & Continuous Improvement Produce a weekly executive report (numbers + actions) covering sales, profit, ad performance, buy box/visibility, inventory risk, and key issues. Deliver a monthly business review: category/SKU winners and losers, key tests run, learnings, next month priorities. Maintain a prioritized backlog and execute consistently shipping meaningful improvements weekly. What success looks like (first 90 days) Cleaner listings and fewer blockers (suppression reduction, stronger variation integrity, improved retail readiness). Improved advertising hygiene and reduced waste while maintaining or improving profitable growth. Better in‑stock management and fewer preventable stockouts on priority ASINs. Stable account health and a reliable operating cadence (weekly reporting, change logs, documented processes). A clear roadmap for marketplace expansion and measurable growth initiatives. Requirements Must‑have 3+ years hands‑on experience managing Amazon Seller Central (end‑to‑end ownership). Strong listing and catalog skills: variations, attributes, compliance, troubleshooting, and suppression resolution. Strong Amazon PPC experience (SP/SB/SD) with disciplined optimization and hygiene. Experience managing or coordinating FBA inventory.
