**Key Responsibilities**:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of LifeLabs’ DEI strategy and annual plans. Identify, design, and deliver scalable and sustainable programs and initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Measurement & Accountability: Develop and track key metrics to assess the effectiveness of DEI strategies and programs. Oversee the DEI census survey in year one and support the development and execution of resulting goals and actions.
- Collaboration & Integration: Partner with HR, internal communications, and other departments to embed DEI best practices into people programs, policies, and communications. Support the design and delivery of DEI learning and development initiatives.
- External Partnerships & Research: Manage relationships with key external partners to ensure alignment with best practices. Conduct ongoing research and data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and innovative solutions.
- Communication & Engagement: Develop and support targeted communication plans that promote DEI awareness, engagement, and transparency across the organization.
**Education**:
- Three-year Community College Diploma in Business or a related field.
- DEI certification or equivalent training (e.g., courses, certificates, workshops).
- PMO Certification is an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of eight years of experience in organizational roles, with at least five years in a managerial or influential capacity.
- At least three years of experience developing and implementing DEI strategies and plans.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs with measurable outcomes.
- Experience working with governance structures, ERGs, and senior leadership teams.
**Skills & Attributes**:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive execution and deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and track metrics, analyze data, and report progress to executive stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Deep understanding of DEI principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- A bias for action, a results-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for creating inclusive and equitable environments.
- Ability to navigate complexity, influence change, and inspire others across all levels of the organization.
