This role oversees a team of analysts and technical professionals responsible for sustaining and evolving NorQuest’s enterprise-level applications, including the ERP ecosystem. The manager is responsible for the College’s centralised software budget (over 150 applications, valued at more than $2.5 million), ensuring technology solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with institutional goals. Reporting to the Director of Business Technology Services, this position delivers high-impact application services that support academic and administrative operations, enhance service delivery, and promote innovation. The successful candidate will foster a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and technical innovation. HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analysts and contracted staff, aligning with strategic business priorities. Oversee ERP governance, roadmap planning, and project leadership for ERP programme projects. Manage sustainment activities, troubleshooting, and documentation for enterprise applications. Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget; manage a software budget exceeding $2.5 million. Advise stakeholders on best practices for enterprise application use and operation. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, including renewals for enterprise licensing agreements. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to align technology solutions with operational needs. Champion inclusive leadership practices reflecting NorQuest’s values of equity, diversity, and belonging. WHAT YOU BRING: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Professional designation (e.g., PMP, CBAP, ITIL, or cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an asset Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in enterprise applications and business systems. At least 3–5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing large-scale systems such as ERP in a complex organisational environment. Deep technical knowledge of PeopleSoft or other enterprise information systems. Demonstrated leadership in a technology-driven environment. Experience leading large-scale enterprise application projects. Strong background in business analysis and strategic planning. Skilled in budgeting, IT service delivery, and operational management. Experience in a post-secondary or public sector environment is a strong asset. WHAT MAKES YOU A DIFFERENCE MAKER? Technical and Project Decisions : Leads solution design and delivery for enterprise application projects, making decisions that impact project scope, timelines, budgets, and long-term system sustainability. Team Development : Recruits, mentors, and develops a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. SALARY: $104,458 - $130,541 reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time, permanent with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
