Bilingual Director Information Services Operations

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Director Information Services Operations for a permanent position with its Ottawa-based customer.
Work Location
The successful candidate will be required to work 2-3x/week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON.
Language Requirements
Bilingual in French and English essential.
Security Requirement
Must be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance.
Key Tasks
- Manage the IT Operations in the Information Services Division
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Non-Public Property (NPP) Network across Canada and Europe, on-premises and Cloud data center footprints, cybersecurity, contact center, deskside and application support
- Lead the evolution of foundational technologies and are responsible for the transition of business solutions into operations
- Maintain close relationships with their team, colleagues, and peers inside and outside of the IS Division
Key Qualifications
- 8+ years experience as progressive manager and leader in IM/IT Operations and Support
- Experience planning, managing, evaluating and advancing IM/IT network and system services, IM/IT support services and IM/IT strategies
- Experience managing day-to-day IT operations, on-premises and Cloud data centers, cybersecurity, contact center, deskside and application support

- Able to quickly adapt to changes and seamlessly transition from one issue to another while maintaining momentum
- Can focus their attention on specific goals and objectives and plan for the long term
- Enjoy collaboration and love being a part of the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Experience in planning, managing, evaluating and advancing IM/IT network, systems, data and applications security services
- Expertise in developing, interpreting, implementing and applying IM/IT policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Experience in business and strategic planning and managing IM/IT projects
- Experience in personnel administration and budget administration
- Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership
