PromoChrom Technologies is a fast-growing company specializing in automated laboratory systems. The Product Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap, and execution of assigned products throughout their lifecycle. This role works closely with customers, cross-functional teams, and leadership to translate market needs into actionable product requirements and ensure successful development, launch, and ongoing support. The Product Manager serves as the voice of the customer and plays a key role in driving growth, competitive positioning, and long-term product success.*Key Responsibilities **Product Strategy & Planning ** Develop and maintain product strategy, vision, and roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.* Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and challenges.* Define and analyze key performance metrics to measure product success.* Build business cases for new product development projects and enhancements, including financial analysis (pricing, margin, ROI).*Product Development & Lifecycle Management ** Translate customer and market insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and specifications.* Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Service, Sales and Marketing teams to prioritize and execute product development projects.* Support project planning, timelines, risk assessments, and cross-functional alignment.* Manage the product through all lifecycle phases—from concept to launch, updates, and end-of-life, end-of-service decisions.*Commercial Support & Go-to-Market ** Partner with Sales and Marketing on product positioning, messaging, collateral, and launch programs.* Provide product training and support to internal teams and key customers.* Maintain pricing structure, discount guidelines, and configuration models in collaboration with Finance and Sales.* Evaluate customer feedback, field performance, and market adoption to recommend ongoing improvements.*Stakeholder & Customer Engagement ** Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and escalations.* Build strong relationships with strategic customers and distribution partners to understand needs and identify opportunities.* Participate in customer meetings, product demos, trade shows, and industry events.*Qualifications **Required ** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.* 3–5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, R&D, or a technical customer-facing role.* Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.*Preferred ** Experience in laboratory instrumentation, automation, life sciences, or related technical industries.* Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) and regulatory frameworks* Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.*Key Competencies ** Customer-Centric Mindset* Strategic & Commercial Acumen* Project Management* Cross-Functional Collaboration* Technical Aptitude* Data-Driven Decision Making* Ownership & Accountability*Benefits ** Competitive compensation and growth opportunities.* Extended health, dental, and vision care.* Paid time off and flexible schedule.* Casual dress code.* On-site gym.* Supportive and collaborative team environment.*Work Location ** On-site at PromoChrom Technologies, Richmond, BC* Applicants must be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate before starting work.Job Type: Full-timePay: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Casual dress* Company events* Dental care* Extended health care* Flexible schedule* On-site gym* On-site parking* Paid time off* Vision careExperience:* product management: 3 years (required)* laboratory instrumentation: 1 year (required)Work Location: In person
