Your contributions will directly impact the success of projects focused on insurance policy valuation and financial risk management.
What is in it for you:
• Hourly salary of $22 to $29, based on experience.

• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.

• Weekday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:
Model Review and Implementation:
• Reviewing insurance policy valuation model documents.

• Translating complex mathematical and actuarial concepts into technical documentation.

• Implementing calculations in Python code.
Testing and Validation:
• Testing the valuation model implemented in Python to ensure accuracy and reliability.
System Maintenance:
• Assisting senior team members in maintaining and supporting existing financial risk management systems.
What you will need to succeed:
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in mathematics, computer science, or engineering.

• Proficiency in Python with the ability to write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

• Familiarity with Excel, R, SQL, and VBA.

• Basic understanding of actuarial principles and insurance concepts.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to thrive under pressure, eager to learn, and a strong team player.

• Actuarial experience or knowledge (nice to have).
