As a Business Development Manager - Foodservice (Ontario), you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, creating relationships with distributors and operators, and increasing the visibility and presence of Café William products in the Ontario market. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to design and execute initiatives tailored to market needs. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven, and persistent professional who thrives on building networks, generating new opportunities, and making a tangible impact on market expansion. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial contact to closing, ensuring consistent follow-up and accurate tracking Proactively prospect and engage new customers through direct outreach, in-person meetings, and relationship-building Identify and qualify new business opportunities, turning market potential into signed agreements Drive the full sales cycle, from first conversation to deal closure, maintaining momentum with persistence and discipline Generate new business and expand market presence by targeting potential customers and creating awareness for our brand Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management, demonstrating measurable impact on market growth SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 10 years of B2B sales or business development experience in foodservice Proven track record of generating new business and opening new accounts or territories Understanding of the foodservice distribution landscape in Ontario or Canada is an asset Familiarity with sales pipeline management, CRM tools, and sales reporting Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously in the field Persistent, resilient, and results-oriented, with the ability to overcome obstacles and follow through Highly organized with strong planning and time-management skills Ability to travel within Ontario and attend industry events as needed WORKING CONDITIONS Full remote position from Ontario, with the flexibility to travel as needed for client visits Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday Flexible schedule and summer hours (Friday afternoons off) Comprehensive group insurance coverage RRSP with employer contribution One paid volunteer day per year Annual health and wellness spending account Employee assistance program (EAP) 3 floating days per year 3 weeks of vacation
