Technical Sales Engineer / Specialist We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer / Specialist to join our team and provide industry‑leading expertise in Noise Control solutions for HVAC applications. This role bridges technical knowledge with customer engagement, offering hands‑on product support, site consultations, equipment selection, and sales collaboration with engineers, contractors, and building owners across North America and beyond. The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include Collaborate with sales representatives, contractors, engineers, and building owners to provide technical and product support both in‑office and on‑site. Assist with equipment selection, system layout reviews, and acoustical solutions for HVAC applications. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e‑mail, delivering accurate and timely technical guidance. Conduct customer training sessions – in our technical centers or throughout our distributor network – to enhance understanding of products and applications. Support the development of marketing materials, technical documentation, and sales tools. Partner with the R&D department to provide field insights and contribute to new product development. Represent the company at trade shows, technical seminars, and customer visits domestically and internationally. The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have A technical problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. Confident communicator – comfortable engaging with clients, leading presentations, and conducting training sessions. Outgoing and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others understand technical concepts. Organized multitasker who can manage multiple projects and customer needs simultaneously. Public speaking or technical presentation experience is an asset. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (EIT designation preferred). Background in HVAC systems and engineering fundamentals. Previous experience in technical sales, acoustics, or noise control is considered an asset. Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, air movement, and vibration control. Travel Requirements Occasional travel within North America and abroad for site visits, training, and customer support.
