Job Overview Join Cintas as an Accounts Receivable Representative and manage all accounts receivable functions, maintaining accurate records, identifying outstanding debts, and planning actions to recover payments. The role involves extensive phone activity with customers, locating and contacting debtors, negotiating payment plans, handling inquiries and complaints, investigating discrepancies, building relationships with customers, updating database records, alerting supervisors on delinquent accounts, and complying with legal requirements when necessary. Requisition Number: Responsibilities Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts. Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments. Engage in heavy phone activity with customers. Locate and contact debtors regarding payment status. Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans. Handle questions or complaints. Investigate and resolve discrepancies. Establish good relationships with customers. Update account status and database regularly. Alert supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts. Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable. Required Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of collections experience Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet Preferred Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent internal and external customer service skills Experience with SAP and AS400 Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits with premiums below the national average. Compensation A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $22.14 and $27.89 per hour.
