- Reporting to the Director, Credit & Collections, the purpose of the Accounts Receivable Specialist is to provide financial, clerical, and administrative services that ensures efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts within assigned portfolio.**This is a temporary full-time contract position (1 year)**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Daily reconciliation of accounts
- Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Research, understand, and process account adjustments
- Organize an effective recovery system and initiate collection efforts
- Collaborate with Sales and customers to resolve account discrepancies
- Support the company in optimizing financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in A/R, Credit and Collections
- Certified Credit Professional designation (CCP) or working towards preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with all key stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task several duties at once and prioritize them.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- English/French bilingualism not required but would be an asset
