Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role for the position of Director of Government Affairs, based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with the flexibility to work from home on a limited basis. The Director of Government Affairs will oversee and implement government relations strategies, engage with policymakers and legislative bodies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, this role involves advocating for policies beneficial to renewable energy promotion and fostering relationships with government officials, agencies, and other stakeholders. Qualifications Proficiency in Governmental Affairs, Government Relations, and Lobbying Strong understanding and experience with State Government and Legislative Relations Ability to develop and maintain relationships with policymakers and government representatives Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Environmental Policy, or a related field Knowledge of renewable energy policies and regulations is an asset Track record of leading successful government advocacy initiatives Seniority level: Director Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Other Industries: Solar Electric Power Generation #J-18808-Ljbffr
