POSITION VACANCY: Learning and Organizational Development POSITION: Learning and Organizational Development Coordinator – Full Time HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday; Hybrid (with flexibility to attend all WRHN sites as required) POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Learning and Organizational Development our Learning and Organizational Development Coordinator supports the day‑to‑day operations of our department. The Coordinator will assist in supporting team priorities, providing coordination and administrative support where required. Key Responsibilities Support coordination and implementation of our learning and education programs (e.g. learning fund, learning management system), including processing payments, managing assignments, posting content, creating reports Collaborate with others to update educational courses in the learning management system Process appropriate correspondence regarding our L&OD programs, including records management Support weekly WRHN orientation session for new employees Create draft communications regarding programs for our WRHN colleagues Collect, update, prepare and distribute resource materials (such as community maps and information) Design, edit and update information packages, e‑mails, reminders, memos Answer general Learning and Organizational Development department queries via various email accounts Maintain/update Lotus Link as required Support training and learning sessions through scheduling, tracking attendance, generating certificates, transcribing notes as well as supporting in‑person training as required Ordering supplies, submitting invoices and vendor requisitions Maintain distribution lists as requiredManage the dedicated organizational development email inbox by acknowledging and responding to e‑mails from WRHN team members Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure engagement and success of larger Organizational Development projects Actively participate in managing external relationships with vendors to support coordination of deliverables Position Requirements Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in HR, organizational development, adult education or related discipline, or post‑secondary education in human resources or equivalent Knowledge of learning management system administration considered an asset Minimum 3 years of experience in a team administrative support role Exceptional knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite required Experience scheduling of training and events Ability to work autonomously and follow directives Demonstrated ability to problem solve and contribute input to improve processes Application Instructions: EMPLOYEES OF LEGACY GRAND RIVER HOSPITAL ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATION ELECTRONICALLY USING THE EMPATH SYSTEM.
