Role


As the HR Director, you work closely in support of the CEO and the leadership team to develop and implement talent strategies and programs that are aligned to the overall business objectives.


In this role, you are accountable for strategies around attracting, retaining and developing talent. Other accountabilities include managing employee relation issues, facilitating the company's talent and compensation review processes, and managing HRIS systems and processes.


What you are accountable for


Recruitment


  • Evolve the company’s recruitment strategy to meet short- and long-term talent needs.
  • Ensure all leaders are familiar with hiring practices.
  • Keep informed on and share the global labour market trends for our industry.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops best practices hiring and talent management.
  • Partner with senior leadership to build and message our employer brand to support retention and recruitment.


Culture


  • Evolve the company’s onboarding strategy to meet short- and long-term employee onboarding needs.
  • Align all talent management processes and programs to core values, company scorecard and vision.
  • Drive engagement initiatives aligned with engagement survey results, focus groups and feedback received from pulse checks.
  • Sponsor and support a thriving culture.


Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)


  • As executive sponsor of the DEIB Committee, manage the efforts of the team and the outcomes of the initiative that are supported.
  • Ensure that DEIB is considered and embedded into our polices, programs, and processes.
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of DEIB initiatives and report on progress to senior leadership.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace culture where all employees feel valued, respected, and have a sense of belonging.


Policies & Programs


  • Keep aware of applicable legislation and update policies as required.
  • Understand Vencora and Business unit polices, educate managers and employees, ensure adherence and continually evolve.
  • Create, communicate, train and drive programs aimed at driving efficiencies and achieving metrics associated with all stages of the employee life cycle, including annual performance reviews and scorecards.
  • Sponsor the health and safety program and support as required.


Total Rewards


  • Analyze current programs and keep aware of compensation trends.
  • Understand the local markets and ensure our total compensation remains competitive to attract and retain strong talent.
  • Support the benefits program offerings and help identify possible programs unique to the business in attracting and retaining talent.
  • Support managers with annual compensation reviews and take responsibility for the administration of the annual compensation review processes.


HRIS


  • Manage the HRIS (Workday) process.

· Aim to utilize the HRIS (Workday) fully.

  • Digest data and communicate HR Analytics through dashboards that help drive people strategies.


What you bring to the team

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • You are able to inspire confidence of the CEO and other senior managers as a trusted advisor and partner, providing professional advice and promoting effective change initiatives
  • You will work independently of the CEO, but consult where appropriate
  • 10+ years’ experience in HR field and 5+ years’ leading a Human Resources team
  • You are comfortable working in a standalone environment
  • Can quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships with all members of the organization.
  • Demonstrable maturity and professionalism and integrity
  • Act as a role model for the organization. Work reciprocally in a solution focused manner to achieve the best outcomes
  • Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions, with the ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented
  • Demonstrates a solid grasp of personalities and behavioral styles in order to work cross functionally with all people and to make informed decisions around resourcing, reporting structures and relationships
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and common-sense approach
  • Familiar with standard methodology and experience in mentoring managers through change
  • Demonstrates ownership and visibly supports and empowers the senior leadership team in achieving their commitments
  • Self-motivated and self-aware - recognizes own strengths and weaknesses and is committed to personal development
