Sales Administrator (Contract)$22-26 per hour 6 Month Contract Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Your New Company Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in trade and investment, operating across diverse industries including chemicals, energy, and industrial solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to start with core administrative responsibilities and transition into business development, contributing to impactful projects in a dynamic sector. Key Responsibilities 50% of the role is to: provide backup for other administrators and assist GM with ad-hoc tasks (including market research). Process customer orders and input into internal systems. Prepare sales and purchase contracts and related documentation. Issue invoices and monitor A/R and A/P. Assist with credit applications and track credit limits and overdue accounts. Schedule shipments, book trucks, and prepare customs documentation. Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies. Support monthly inventory reporting and assist with BI reports. Respond to inquiries and resolve basic issues. Maintain confidential documents. Use SAP and Excel for data entry and reporting. What You Need to Succeed College diploma or equivalent experience. 3–5 years in administration, logistics, or sales support. Strong MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables). SAP experience preferred. Basic knowledge of import/export procedures. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Team player with flexibility and strong communication skills. TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification. Experience in logistics/customs clearance. Familiarity with invoicing/accounting procedures. French language ability is an asset.
