Secretary / Administrative Support About the Job The Client: Our client is an established and growing organization in Vaughan seeking a detail-oriented Secretary to support daily administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who excels in written communication, document preparation, and managing clerical tasks to ensure smooth office workflow. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable spending most of the day typing and managing correspondence. The role offers exposure to cross-functional administrative duties and the chance to support business operations in a meaningful way. What You'll Accomplish in This Role Type professional correspondence, including letters and memos in Microsoft Word Draft, format, proofread, and edit business documents with accuracy Respond to and manage incoming emails promptly and professionally Take dictation and transcribe notes accurately Enter and update orders and data using Microsoft Excel Track and monitor orders to ensure timely processing and delivery Coordinate courier services and manage document/package deliveries Answer and direct incoming phone calls (primarily overflow calls) Provide general clerical and administrative support as needed Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism What You'll Bring to the Table Proficiency in Microsoft Word with strong formatting and document preparation skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking Minimum typing speed of 60+ WPM with strong accuracy Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Professional, courteous, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with high accuracy Previous secretarial or administrative experience (preferred) Why This Opportunity?
