Duties

  • Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport goods to customers and warehouses.
  • Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate delivery of products by verifying orders and delivery addresses.
  • Assist with moving heavy or bulky items, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and address any concerns professionally.
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation at all times.
  • Keep detailed records of deliveries, including receipts, signatures, and delivery logs.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, moving, or forklift operation is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the workday.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during routes.
  • Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual handling of goods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
