Role Details

Full-time, 100% in-person position, 8:00am to 4:30pm M-F.

Pay is $19-$25 an hour based on experience, dental and medical co-pay benefits are available after 90 days.

Security background check is required.

Potential Start Date: As early as Dec 15 but we are flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatching & Coordination: Dispatch technicians to service calls in an efficient and timely manner, while managing real-time job updates and ensuring appropriate resources are allocated.
  • Follow-Up & Monitoring: Continuously follow up with technicians throughout the day to track job progress, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Pre-Scheduling: Assist with scheduling and planning for upcoming work, ensuring optimal technician allocation for future projects.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain professional and clear communication with both technicians and customers to ensure expectations are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately input job details, job status updates, and follow-up actions into the system. Ensure all information is correctly logged and easily accessible.
  • Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including typing while conversing on the phone, maintaining focus on details and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Typing Speed: A minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute (WPM) is required. You may be asked to complete a typing test during the interview process.
  • Organization Skills: Must possess excellent organizational skills to ensure efficient scheduling, dispatching, and follow-up for all work.
  • Multitasking Ability: Must be able to type and enter data while talking on the phone.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple jobs and tasks simultaneously without losing accuracy. There is a test that you will complete during in-person interviews. If you read this, then write "Pomegranates are great" in the cover letter section during application please.
  • Experience: Previous experience in dispatching or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with both internal teams (technicians) and customers.
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to quickly learn and use dispatching software and tools. Comfort with computer systems/ managing scheduling systems is preferred.
