Traffic Control Manager – Field Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of Traffic Control Personnel (TCPs), providing ongoing guidance and support

  • Manage scheduling for permanent and on-call field staff; review and approve timesheets

  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new field staff

  • Oversee incident reporting, staff meetings, and safety briefings

  • Develop and implement Traffic Control Plans in compliance with safety regulations and project requirements

  • Attend and contribute to on-site Safety Tailgate meetings

  • Monitor traffic conditions and respond to incidents with real-time strategy adjustments

  • Maintain accurate records including project documentation, safety reports, and equipment inventory

  • Coordinate maintenance of vehicles and equipment assets

  • Ensure staff compliance with training standards, safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company SOPs

  • Collaborate with traffic control planners, project managers, contractors, and local authorities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the traffic control industry

  • Valid Traffic Control Certification

  • Valid Driver's Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $65,000-$70,000

  • Vacation: 2 weeks
