AEL Traffic Control is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Traffic Control Person to join our team. As a division of Emcon Services we supply in-house flagging as well as outside jobs, ensuring you have full time work year round.
Location: Victoria - Duncan
Duties
- Direct and control vehicles and pedestrian traffic around work zone.
- Set up and dismantle traffic control devices.
- Communicate clearly with team members and the public regarding traffic patterns and safety measures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while managing all situations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in traffic control or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of paving processes and construction site protocols is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure and with others.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel involved.
- Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliability & Flexibility as this nature of work is on call (24/7)
