We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in kitchen operations. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and freshness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy hours
  • Assist with plating, garnishing, and presentation of dishes for optimal visual appeal
  • Support catering events or special functions as needed
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurant or food service environments
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with menu planning and fine dining presentation is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Familiarity with catering services and serving protocols is a plus
  • Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
