We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a Dishwasher/Line Cook, contributing to the seamless operation of our kitchen and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our patrons.

Job Description:In the role of Dishwasher/Line Cook at Alice Restaurant and Bar, you will play a crucial dual role, supporting the kitchen as a Line Cook while also ensuring the cleanliness and organization of kitchen tools, equipment, and dishes.

Responsibilities:

Line Cook:

  • Assist in food preparation and execution of menu items as directed by the culinary team.
  • Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in dishes.
  • Collaborate with fellow cooks to maintain a smooth flow of orders during service.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance menu offerings and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Dishwasher:

  • Operate the dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Hand-wash items that cannot be cleaned by the dishwasher.
  • Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored and organized.
  • Empty and maintain trash and recycling bins in the kitchen area.
  • Keep the kitchen and dishwashing areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Assist with kitchen cleaning duties as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
