SUMMARY

The Electrical-Mechanical Automotive / Marine Technician's key role is to install integrated electrical systems and mechanical components for our custom adventure off-road camper vans. As we push innovation to the forefront of our off-road camper van offerings, the Electromechanical Automotive Marine / Technician will take part and at times, lead novel and ingenious designs of electrical and mechanical systems.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

An ideal Electrical-Mechanical Automotive / Marine Technician is someone who has a passion for the outdoors, van conversions, off-roading, work-life balance. As a member of our rockstar office team, you bring positive energy and critical thinking to each interaction with your team members and our amazing clients. Furthermore, the most successful individual would have previous experience in wiring RV's and marine applications. A portfolio showing previous work (eg. photos) would greatly help the candidate's application.

Duties/Responsibilities

· Participate in project production kickoff meetings, to ensure that the customer's wishes towards their dream custom adventure off-road camper van is physically possible.

· Installation and assembly of electrical components, such as solar panels, lights, gauges, solar generators, air compressors, and fully integrated electrical systems (NMEA 2000).

· Installation and assembly of mechanical components, such as power steps, fuel tanks, heaters, air conditioners, and plumbing.

· Using tools to modify existing features in vans, as to allow the installation of the electrical and mechanical assemblies.

· Creating wiring diagrams for future reference, in case of customer warranty issues.

· Providing customer service and technical support, as needed.

· Lifting loads up to 50 lbs from time to time.

Experience and Abilities

· 1+ years of hands-on experience with installation of 12V DC electrical systems in automotive and marine applications.

· High attention of detail and organization required.

· Ability to work independently while ensuring deadlines are met.

· Cohesive member of a larger team.

· Ability to efficiently switch-tasking with excellent time management skills.

· Ability to effectively communicate with customers.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.

· Willingness to execute tasks that are not generally listed but help ensure projects are delivered on time to our valued customers.

· 1+ years of electrical experience
