Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Support cooking processes by following established procedures and maintaining consistency
  • Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Help with meal assembly during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Follow serving protocols to ensure proper presentation and portion control
  • Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment required
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and grow professionally
