We are seeking a creative and versatile Content Creator (Part-Time) based in Ottawa to support content development, communication initiatives, and audience engagement across digital and live platforms. The ideal candidate is confident speaking on a wide range of topics, skilled in video editing, and comfortable hosting both online and offline events.

This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to simplify complex ideas into engaging content that aligns with our brand's voice and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging multimedia content covering finance, technology, infrastructure, real estate, and public policy
  • Host and facilitate online/offline events, seminars, and webinars
  • Record, edit, and deliver high-quality video content
  • Create scripts, captions, and content outlines
  • Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns and communication strategies
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely content delivery
  • Conduct research to generate accurate, relevant, and insightful content
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to speak confidently on multiple subject areas
  • Experience hosting live/virtual events is an advantage
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.)
  • Experience with both long-form and short-form content
  • Strong storytelling, research, and writing abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and consistency
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
