Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Aplin Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

We're looking for a strategic and empathetic HR professional to help our people navigate change with clarity and confidence. As the
Manager, People Change & Capability
, you'll design and deliver programs that support leaders and employees through transformation—ensuring change is not just implemented but understood, embraced, and sustained.

Working closely with HR, IT, and Learning teams, you'll bridge the gap between technical implementation and the real human experience of change. You'll help shape a culture where people feel safe, supported, and valued while developing the skills needed for the future.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead people-focused change initiatives that build trust, resilience, and engagement.
  • Partner with leaders and HRBPs to assess people impacts and design tailored support.
  • Collaborate with the IT OCM team to ensure smooth transitions for employees during system or process changes.
  • Embed future skills, leadership development, and digital fluency into capability programs.
  • Coach and facilitate sessions that help teams adapt, learn, and thrive.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Organizational Development, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or leadership and learning roles.
  • Proven success implementing people-focused change programs in large, complex organizations.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Prosci, ADKAR, or Bridges Transition Model; certification in Prosci or ICF coaching is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions—particularly with HR, IT, and communications teams.
  • Comfort working in dynamic environments with ambiguity, transformation, and competing priorities.
  • Deep understanding of culture, inclusion, and employee experience as critical components of change.
