Overview

We are seeking a HVAC Helper/G3 Technician to join our team. The HVAC Helper supports licensed HVAC technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC industry and develop technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist HVAC technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
  • Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
  • Help prepare work areas by removing debris, covering surfaces, and setting up ladders and equipment.
  • Support ductwork installation, including measuring, cutting, and assembling duct sections.
  • Perform basic tasks such as filter changes, cleaning coils, replacing humidifier pads, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service vehicles, tools, and job sites.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and company policies.
  • Communicate professionally with technicians, customers, and office staff.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the lead technician.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or currently enrolled (optional to list), G3 Lisence perferred
  • Interest in the HVAC trade; willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (crawlspaces, rooftops, basements).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Valid driver's license (if required by your company).
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions.
