Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Duties

  • Install and maintain HVAC systems, including air to water heat pumps, boiler systems and ductwork
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete installations and repairs.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role.
  • G3 or G2 gas license
  • Experience with sheet metal an asset.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Familiarity with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair is preferred.
  • Experience in construction is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics related to HVAC installations and repairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
