Richelieu Hardware is seeking a Sales Coordinator – Buying group – Major Accounts for its Head Office located in Montreal, Quebec.
Under the supervision of the National Sales Director, the Sales Coordinator – Buying group – Major Accounts is responsible for the daily management of sales and operations, as well as the updating and maintenance of corporate information across various buying group platforms.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:
- Act as the primary point of contact for buying groups and their banners
- Ensure the execution and follow-up of promotional flyers across various banners
- Coordinate sales operations and support management in executing strategic plans
- Analyze sales data, identify growth opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure optimal execution
- Prepare and present reports, promotional calendars, and business presentations
- Actively participate in trade shows, client events, and product launches
Requirements :
Education:
College or university degree in business administration, management, marketing, or any related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role (sales coordination, key account management, or sales support)
- Experience with buying groups or in the hardware, distribution, or retail industry (an asset)
Technical Skills:
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Comfortable with data analysis, report preparation, and corporate presentations
- Knowledge of CRM or ERP tools (an asset)
Languages:
Fluency in French and English required (both written and spoken)
Other Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical mindset and strong sense of organization
- Good understanding of sales processes and distribution operations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
