Position: Snow Removal Operator

Location: Mississauga and Oakville, ON

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Job Type: Seasonal

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Snow Removal Operator to join our team for the upcoming winter season. The ideal candidate will operate snow removal equipment to ensure safe and clear roadways, parking lots, and walkways during snow and ice conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate snow plows, loaders, skid steers, or other snow removal equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Clear snow and ice from commercial and residential properties according to company standards.
  • Spread salt, sand, or de-icing materials as required.
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections on all equipment.
  • Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after snow events.
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed during snowfalls.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating snow removal equipment (plow trucks, loaders, skid steers, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (DZ license an asset).
  • Ability to work in cold and demanding outdoor conditions.
  • Strong attention to safety, detail, and time management.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $30/hour
  • Employment Type: Seasonal (with potential for ongoing opportunities)
