Breakthrough Academy specializes in helping high performing entrepreneurs in the contracting industry grow their businesses by implementing excellent operational systems into their companies. We believe in the unlimited potential of entrepreneurship and help our Members break through barriers and take their businesses to the next level.

Our proprietary training program brings systemization to a contracting company's operations, develops an entrepreneur's core business skills, and holds accountability to goals along a clear business plan.

Breakthrough Academy is now 10 years old and growing rapidly, with over 600 members developing in the program, and an awesome team of 50 running the show. We are leaders in the contracting industry, helping companies across the continent to implement systems & processes into their operations. 

Because of this we're looking for a Full-Stack developer who will materially improve how our internal systems work together. This role will directly raise the quality of our tooling, reduce friction across the business, and create a strong technical foundation as Breakthrough Academy continues to scale. The impact is real and visible, better systems, clearer data, and smoother operations that enable the organization to operate at a higher level.

IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE: 

• Designing, building, and maintaining Breakthrough Academy's's core systems, including the Member Management System, learning management system (LMS), and CRM.
• Working in applications built on .NET Core (backend) and React (frontend), managing feature development, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Customizing and optimizing the CRM to automate workflows, create reporting dashboards, and support operational and coaching teams.
• Building and maintaining integrations between CRM, LMS, scheduling tools, reporting platforms, and other internal systems.
• Collaborating with Operations, Member Success, and Coaching teams to gather requirements and translate them into system improvements.
• Troubleshooting issues across internal platforms, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions quickly.
• Documenting system architecture, workflows, integrations, and technical processes to ensure clarity for the team and future enhancements
• Working with external vendors or contractors to implement or integrate specialized tools.
• Supporting internal teams by creating dashboards, automated reports, and operational tools that improve efficiency and decision-making.
  

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Demonstrated experience working with internal systems and tooling, including CRM platforms, LMS, and operational software
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core and React, and experience maintaining and enhancing production systems
• Proven ability to customize and optimize CRMs, including workflows, automations, and reporting, to support operational and coaching teams
• Experience building and maintaining integrations between internal platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and accurate reporting
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes efficiently
• Comfortable documenting system processes, workflows, and integrations for team clarity and future enhancements
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
• Familiarity working with external vendors or contractors to implement or support specialized system projects
• Ability to create dashboards, automated reports, and internal tools that improve efficiency and decision making
