Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software Cleardent
  • Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing using systems like Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth while adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Answer multi-line phone systems efficiently, providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries promptly
  • Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing medical office supplies to ensure smooth clinic operations

Experience

  • Prior experience working as a Dental Assistant and or Dental Receptionist is highly preferred. Onsite training is included.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (including 10-key typing)
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively
