Compensation Package

· Wage is dependent on experience

Duties & Responsibilities

· Work in conjunction with JA Tech's technical & construction team to perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, specialized installation, commissioning, & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system

· Conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Tech's Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental

Manual

· Comply with Electrical Code, safety standards, & other applicable legislation

· Perform other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications

· Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician – Red Seal

· Valid Fall Protection

· Valid GMSA is an asset

· Strong interpersonal, communication, & problem-solving skills

· Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout)

· High voltage terminations and/or Fiber experience is considered an asset

· Industrial Site experience

· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines without supervision

· Self-motivates with a pro-active attitude & ability to pitch in & do what is required

· Valid Class 5 driver's license

· Willingness to travel regularly to job sites

· Proficiency in the Windows environment & Microsoft Office

· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
