Join our dynamic team as a Construction Electrician based in Saskatoon, SK In this role, you will assist with tank and piping installation and removal projects (above and underground) throughout Saskatchewan and adjoining provinces. You will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality construction services while providing excellent customer service and supporting project execution in the field.
As a Construction Electrician, you will:
- Complete project activities as directed by Construction Leads and Project Managers.
- Install, test, and commission petroleum equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements, manufacturer instructions, and company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with sub-contractors to complete project tasks across disciplines, including electrical, excavation, concrete, and civil work.
- Follow company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Travel as required throughout Saskatchewan and Western Canada.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship to enhance the company's reputation.
- Carry out manual labour and physically demanding tasks while working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Competencies:
- Red Seal or Journeyman Electrician certification.
- Licensed Petroleum Installer (any province) considered an asset.
- Minimum 3–5 years of construction experience.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to take direction, work independently, and perform work safely.
- Competent using tools and operating equipment.
- Physically capable of demanding work, including long shifts and overtime.
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
- Hard-working, reliable, responsible, energetic, and dependable.
