1. Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario. 
2. Bachelor/Masters of Science - Occupational Therapy.
3. 3 years recent, relevant experience working with hospital inpatients on Acute and Complex Continuing Care units including geriatric populations. Previous experience at the West Lincoln site considered an asset.
4. Assistive Devices Authorizer for Mobility Devices is preferred. 
5. Current CPR certification.
6. Experience working on interdisciplinary teams in the clinical setting and working throughout the facility on committees and projects.
7. Demonstrated ability to interact with patients, families, and other members of the health care team in an effective, professional, safe, positive, and caring manner. 
8. Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, interpersonal skills, time management, computer skills, and problem solving. 
9. Past performance and attendance record will be considered as part of the selection process.

As a member of the health care team, provides occupational therapy assessment, treatment and education for acute and complex continuing care patients. Responsibilities include planning, implementing and evaluating Occupational Therapy treatment programs. West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, a 48 bed acute/complex continuing care facility located in Grimsby, Ontario serving the needs of the west Niagara community, is seeking an Occupational Therapist.
