Current member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
Minimum one (1) year experience in a Pediatric setting preferably in acute tertiary care within the last 3 years
Experience with evaluation and treatment of feeding
Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities as related to infants, children and adolescents and their families as they pertain to pediatric populations
Knowledge of community services and children's treatment facilities
Significant ability to do multitasks in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team

This position is temporary until April 2026.
As a member of the healthcare team, using a family and child centered approach, the Occupational Therapist enables infants, children and adolescents to maximize his or her occupational performance (self care, productivity and leisure) in order to facilitate discharge, community integration and functional adaptation. The focus of the role is primarily for inpatient care.
