Senior Lead, Regional Initiatives

Salary:
$99,899 - $111,652 - $135,158 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract:
Permanent

Hours:
37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location:
Fraser Salish Region (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy).

About The Role
As Senior Lead, Regional Initiatives, you will provide leadership, technical support, operational advice and guidance related to the regional initiatives and projects. The position leads a team of regional initiatives positions.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have/be:

Education & Occupational Certification, Experience (REQUIRED)

  • Undergraduate degree in a health-related field (health sciences, public health, healthcare administration or a related field) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Significant, recent and relevant experience (usually acquired over a period of 5 to 7 years)
  • Experience working with First Nations individuals, communities or organizations on issues related to health and wellness
  • Experience providing technical support and supporting the coordination of complex and multifaceted initiatives and projects

Education & Occupational Certification, Experience (ASSET)

  • A Masters in Public Health or related field as an asset
  • First Aid Level 1 (with CPR), Hep B shot, and flu vaccine

Knowledge and Ability

  • In-depth knowledge of the BC health care system, and the current landscape of First Nations health in BC
  • In-depth knowledge of First Nations health and wellness system needs
  • Thorough understanding of human centered care to provide holistic, integrated, coordinated, and high-quality care that respects diversity and culture
  • Vast understanding of community, public, and primary health care systems
  • Trauma informed practice

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
