About the Role:

Global News is looking for Full-Time Receptionist covering multiple markets based out of Saskatoon. 

Reporting to the Regional News Manager. This is a group 1 position under the current collective agreement.

You will contribute by:

  • Reception – greet visitors to the stations and answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate departments in multiple markets 
  • Assist the Business Department with various administrative duties
  • Answer viewer questions about Global programming
  • Handle incoming and outgoing courier and deliveries
  • Assist in organizing staff functions and station participation in events
  • Embrace and demonstrate Corus' five values
  • Order & maintain office supplies
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills and experience you bring:

  • Proficient in a PC environment with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Punctual
