We are seeking an organized and motivated HR & Office Assistant to support our growing team with day-to-day human resources, office administration, and communications tasks.
Position Overview
The HR & Office Assistant will provide essential support across three areas: human resources coordination, office administration, and basic communications/public relations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants to contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (Primary Focus)
- Assist with recruitment: job postings, scheduling interviews, reference checks.
- Coordinate onboarding and maintain employee records.
- Support payroll and benefits administration.
- Help ensure compliance with workplace policies, health & safety, and employment standards.
Office Administration
- Provide general office support (supplies, filing, correspondence).
- Assist with scheduling, meeting logistics, and company events.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers.
Communications & Public Relations
- Draft and post internal announcements, newsletters, and social media updates.
- Support company branding, events, and community engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with external marketing/PR partners as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in HR support, office administration, or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in HR, business administration, or communications an asset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); HR/payroll software experience is an asset.
- Professional, adaptable, and eager to learn.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
