Duties
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and encouraging professional development.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards in all aspects of food handling.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to create a seamless dining experience for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling procedures, and kitchen management practices.
- Experience in team management and leadership within a fast-paced culinary environment.
- Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
