Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Coordinator located in Calgary, AB. The Marketing Coordinator will oversee daily marketing activities, including planning and executing campaigns, coordinating events, and managing timelines and deliverables for various projects. Responsibilities also include working closely with the sales and content teams to align marketing strategies, maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders, and contributing to the development of compelling marketing materials and content.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Writing skills to create clear, engaging, and impactful messaging.
  • Sales and Event Planning capabilities to align marketing efforts with business goals and coordinate promotional activities.
  • Proficiency in Project Management and organizational skills to manage deadlines, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration effectively.
  • Additional qualifications, such as familiarity with digital marketing tools, creativity in problem-solving, agency experience, and a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, are a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media management or basic digital marketing principles.

  • Must demonstrate strong independent writing skills — correspondence and communications should be written personally, not generated by AI tools.
  • Punctual, reliable, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle and be able to drive to client locations as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and client needs.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, scheduling tools, or project management software.
  • Comfortable interacting verbally with a variety of clients and colleagues.

Bonus / Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Canva or other design tools for creating marketing materials or client presentations.
  • Video editing skills (basic to intermediate) for short-form content or social media.
  • Content creation experience — comfortable developing engaging posts, newsletters, or promotional materials.
