Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly tactical Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Calgary. This role is essential to executing and scaling our marketing operations. You'll blend creativity, strategy, and execution across content, design, AI, client management, and campaign delivery. You'll report into senior leadership and work cross-functionally with design, strategy, and account teams.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Publishing:

  • Create and manage content for newsletters, blogs, social media (including short-form videos/reels), and client websites.
  • Use our Samurai CMS to publish and maintain website content, ensuring high quality and SEO alignment.
  • Design visual assets using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and coordinate with designers or freelancers (e.g., via Creative Crowd).

AI-Driven Copy & Strategy

  • Leverage ChatGPT (and other AI tools) for ideation, copywriting, content planning, and refinement.
  • Embed AI workflows to speed up content production while preserving tone, brand voice, and quality.

Project & Campaign Management:

  • Oversee project timelines, task assignments, and content calendars using
  • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, strategy, client services) to deliver campaigns on time and on budget.
  • Monitor campaign performance, generate reports, and draw insights that support optimization.

SEO & Analytics:

  • Perform keyword research and apply SEO best practices to written content and web copy.
  • Track content performance, web traffic, and other key metrics; present data-driven insights and recommendations.

Multimedia Production:

  • Conceptualize, script, and produce short videos/reels for social media.
  • Edit basic video content or coordinate with video production resources to deliver polished multimedia assets.

Client Relations & Account Support:

  • Act as a liaison for assigned clients – provide regular updates, manage feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, campaign results, and content strategy recommendations.
  • Support client-facing meetings, brainstorms, and creative planning sessions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or content role (agency experience strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience

Technical & Tool Proficiency:

  • Deep experience with ChatGPT or similar AI tools
  • Skilled in (or similar project management system)
  • Comfortable working with a CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or proprietary)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience sourcing or managing creatives via Creative Crowd or similar platforms
  • Strong SEO knowledge and experience optimizing content for search
  • Experience with a CMS, ideally Samurai or similar

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Strong design sensibility and attention to visual detail
  • High initiative and ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Client-facing experience and strong communication skills
